The Process

The option to conciliate/mediate remains open to the parties throughout the process until the conclusion of the Hearing.

After the Hearing, the Tribunal will issue it's Decision/Judgment with reasons within 6 weeks. If a Claimant is successful in their claim, the Tribunal will make an Award in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Law.

In most cases Judgments are published on the Jersey Legal Information Board website Jersey Law | Tribunal Judgments 

The Tribunal’s Decision/Judgment may be appealed to the Royal Court on a point of law only.
